Racist shoes
Addidas has recently released a new pair of sneakers that feature a stereotypical caricature with slanted eyes, buck teeth and bowl cut with "Fong" written on it's heel. It is part of their "Yellow" series.
Too bad I'm desensitized to all this racist shit, otherwise I would sue Addidas for intentional infliction of emotion distress. But instead, I'll just sue them under the Right of Publicity doctrine for appropriating my brother's likeness and identity for profit.
But if you don't practice law, I recommend emailing or calling Addidas at their customer service number 1-800-448-1796. That's right, bitch them out... oh, and by the way, do me a favor and ask if they would personalize the shoe with "Yee" instead of "Fong"...

Did I tell you some white guy asked me if I eat my hotdog with kimchi at a party?? I didn't know what to think... I still don't know what to think of all these racism stuff... Are we too sensitive or are we too insensitive...
Wait, I'm confused... Koreans don't eat kim chee with their hot dogs?
i think to the unknown observer these might seem racist, but what if it was revealed that the shoes were designed by an asian guy? does that still make it racist?
I don't think it make a difference whether the designer is Asian. It's still a racist shoe because it glorifies a very racist image.
Perhaps it would be different if this shoe is being ironic, or subversive. But I highly doubt this shoe is doing either of those except to make profit off of a racist image of Asians.
