These colors waved proudly from cars all across Los Angeles today. Although these cars caused considerable traffic, I was not bothered... especially since I no longer own a car. So it's all good.On April 24, 1915, over six hundred Armenian politicians, leaders, writers, thinkers, and professionals were rounded up and killed. Also, five thousand of the poorest Armenians were butchered in the streets and in their homes. The Armenian Genocide was carried out by the "Young Turk" government of the Ottoman Empire.
